Eurofragance has started 2018 with some significant organisational changes. In early January, Laurent Mercier took over as the company’s General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, also becoming a member of the Board of Directors. Mercier replaces Eurofragance Founding Partner and CEO Santiago Sabatés, who led company since it was created in 1990. Sabatés is now President of Eurofragance, and will focus on strategic functions, representing the company and chairing meetings of the Board of Directors.
Eurofragance’s new CEO joined the firm as Global Business Director in 2013, designing and implementing its business diversification and geographic expansion strategy. “Mercier has been the main driving force behind the transformation of Eurofragance, and in his new position he will implement the 2020 strategic plan to boost the company’s growth and profitability,” said the company in a release.
Created in 1990, Eurofragance is a family-run company devoted to the design and production of fragrances for perfumery, personal and home care products.
