The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) Week has long been a cornerstone of strategic engagement for us. For over 30 years, PROCOS has been an active participant in this global business development forum, utilizing the platform to foster relationships, expand collaborations, and contribute to pivotal discussions within the pharmaceutical industry. As we look to DCAT Week 2025, PROCOS is poised to make a significant impact through two key initiatives: the introduction of our cutting-edge R11 production facility and our continued sponsorship of the Women’s Networking Breakfast.
As a matter of fact, 2025 marks a transformative year for PROCOS with the commissioning of R11, our state-of-the-art production facility. R11 epitomizes PROCOS’ commitment to organic growth within the small molecule CDMO sector, addressing increasing demand for low-volume, high-value complex molecules and Clinical Phase I/II/III materials. Equipped with four multipurpose lines, the facility boasts approximately 20 reactors ranging from 1,000 to 6,000 liters, four centrifuges, and advanced drying capacities. This first part of the expansion, contributing an additional 73 cubic meters of manufacturing capacity, is a testament to our dedication to innovation and operational excellence.
Looking ahead, the planned second part of the expansion will further bolster R11’s capabilities with the installation of 15 reactors, three centrifuges, and enhanced drying technologies, ultimately increasing PROCOS’ total production capacity by 25%. By 2026, R11 is set to play a pivotal role in meeting growing global demand, particularly within the US market, while reinforcing our position as a leading API manufacturer.
As PROCOS celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025, DCAT Week provides the perfect platform to reflect on our journey and envision the future. Since our foundation in 1945, and particularly following our integration into the CBC Group in 2006, PROCOS has consistently achieved sustainable growth. The launch of R11 not only enhances our production capabilities but also exemplifies our dedication to meeting evolving client needs through cutting-edge technology and capacity expansion.
Moreover, for the second consecutive year, PROCOS is proud to sponsor the DCAT Women’s Networking Breakfast, underscoring our commitment to fostering leadership and mentorship opportunities for women in the pharmaceutical industry. Organized by the DCAT Alliance for Industry Women Committee, this event has become a hallmark of DCAT Week, featuring influential speakers who inspire and empower.
The 2025 keynote speaker, Komal Ahmad, is a globally recognized humanitarian and entrepreneur known for her groundbreaking work in combating hunger through innovation. PROCOS is honored to support such initiatives, aligning with our values of perseverance, innovation, and community engagement.
At the heart of our DCAT Week 2025 presence lies a dual focus: celebrating our heritage while showcasing the innovations that drive our future. We eagerly anticipate engaging with clients and partners at this prestigious event, reinforcing our role as a trusted leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
